This Privacy Policy describes what data Vitrin collects, how we use it, and your choices.
What we collect
- Account data: email, full name, hashed password.
- Business data: store name, description, product details, images, contact info, address — these are PUBLIC (intentionally, since they appear on your storefront).
- Customer inquiries: when a visitor submits a lead, their name, phone, and message are stored and visible to the store owner.
- Usage analytics: aggregated counts of page views and product views; no personal tracking cookies.
- Payment data: we do NOT store card numbers. All payments are processed by Polar. We store only an opaque subscription ID returned by their API.
Why we collect it
- To operate the service (showing your storefront to visitors, processing leads).
- To bill you for the subscription (via Polar).
- To improve the product (in aggregate, never selling individual data).
Who we share with
We do not sell your data. We share data with these processors strictly to provide the service:
- Polar Software, Inc. — billing (email, payment events).
- Cloudflare — DNS and DDoS protection (IP addresses, request metadata).
- Telegram (optional) — if you enable the integration, lead notifications are sent to your bot.
Data retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. After cancellation, we keep minimal data for up to 90 days to handle disputes, then delete it. You can request immediate deletion by emailing us.
Your rights
- Access — request a copy of your data.
- Correction — fix inaccurate data via the dashboard or by emailing us.
- Deletion — request account closure and data removal.
- Portability — export your products and leads (CSV available on request).
Cookies
We use only essential cookies (authentication, language preference). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Children
Vitrin is not intended for users under 16. If you believe a minor is using the service, contact us.
Changes
Material changes to this Policy will be announced in the dashboard or by email.
